The spokesman of the Authority, Mazen Al-Jasser, said in an interview with Al-Mada that the participation of the Authority in the Baghdad International Fair comes from its role in encouraging Saudi products to reach international markets, stressing that the orientation to the Iraqi market was the result of discussions held by the Saudi Export Development Authority To discuss the most important challenges facing them, find effective solutions to overcome them, and discuss ways to facilitate the arrival of the Saudi product to the Iraqi market, noting that the Authority is striving to provide tools and means that contribute to overcoming obstacles to the national product of competition internationally; Saudi Arabia's non-oil exports in the Iraqi market in particular.

The participation of the Authority in this year's Baghdad exhibition, with the slogan "Industries that transcend borders and bring peoples closer", is one of the most important participations that will contribute to building economic trade relations between the Kingdom and the Iraqi Republic. Al-Jasser affirmed that the participation of Saudi exports in the Baghdad exhibition aims to achieve economic convergence, Iraq is a fertile ground with many investment and commercial opportunities.

Iraq and the Kingdom also have deep historical ties, which lead them to strengthen these relations to return to normal course in line with the aspirations of the two countries. Al-Jasser said that the main role of the Authority is to promote exports and the delivery of national products to international markets in general and to improve the efficiency of the export environment by working with the relevant parties in the two countries to facilitate procedures, Global. Asked about the strategy of the Coordinating Council recently signed by Saudi Arabia with Iraq and the economic agreements reached between the two sides, Al-Jasser said that the establishment of the Saudi-Iraqi Coordinating Council confirms the sincere desire of the Kingdom and Iraq to cooperate for the benefit of the two countries. The task of protecting the common interests and developing the partnership between the private sector in the two countries, providing opportunities for businessmen to identify trade and investment opportunities, and adopting the active means that contribute to helping them exploit them.
