Brent crude surged above $ 60 a barrel on Friday for the first time since July 3, 2015 as investors remained optimistic about the possibility of extending the OPEC deal.
The price of Brent rose 1.20% to $ 60 a barrel, while the price of WTI reached $ 53.48 a barrel for the first time since April 17.
