Denmark allocates $ 21 million to displaced Iraqis

Denmark has donated 21 million dollars, an estimated 135 million Danish kroner (DKK), as humanitarian aid to displaced people in areas liberated from terrorism, the Copenhagen Post reported Friday.
“Denmark needs to help its partner Iraq with regard to the problems of displaced people from Mosul and elsewhere in order to rebuild what has been destroyed by the members of the terrorist organization,” the paper quoted Denmark’s development minister as saying.
Danish reconstruction efforts will be focused on the Nineveh plain in northwestern Iraq, which has recently been liberated from a three-year rule.
