The Saudi oil minister arrived in Baghdad

The oil ministry announced on Saturday the arrival of Saudi Oil Minister Khalid al-Falih to Baghdad, noting that bilateral relations between the two countries are witnessing steady growth in all fields.
The ministry said in a statement that “Saudi Oil Minister Khalid al-Faleh arrived this morning to Baghdad,” noting that “the Coordination Council between the two countries will develop the appropriate mechanisms to accelerate the realization of economic partnership and activate cooperation and economic integration.”
“The depth of bilateral relations and joint coordination in all fields, including decisions on reducing production,” Al-Falih said.
On May 22, 2017, al-Faleh visited Baghdad and discussed with the Iraqi oil minister and a number of Iraqi government officials the strengthening of the bilateral relations between the two countries and the subject of the oil market and its developments.
