The Iraqi Oil Ministry: Oil wells in Kirkuk under our administration

A spokesman for the Iraqi Oil Ministry Assem Jihad, said on Tuesday that the ministry put its hand on all wells and oil installations in the province of Kirkuk (northern Iraq), which was under the control of the Peshmerga forces.

"All oil wells and oil facilities in Kirkuk province are under the control of the ministry," the ministry's spokesman Assem Jihad said.

Security forces took control of the oil fields of Baba Karkar, Hassan Bay and pumping stations northwest of Kirkuk, after the withdrawal of the Peshmerga.
