The Ministry of Labor achieves one billion dinars as fees for granting work permits to foreign companies


The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Mohammed Shiaa al-Sudani said on Monday that the Department of Arabs and Foreigners in the Department of Employment and Loans in the Ministry achieved in September revenues of one billion dinars as a fee to grant him a number of work permits for foreign companies operating in the country.
Al-Sudani said in a statement that “the Department of Arabs and foreigners in the Department of Employment and Loans was able to meet one billion dinars as fees in accordance with Resolution No. (80) of the Council of Ministers 3013, which specified the mechanism of contracting with foreign companies operating within the country and also fees for granting work permits to the private sector And bringing in foreign housekeepers as well as visiting the committee to determine the size of employment for private sector projects, “adding that” the funds raised will strengthen the capacity of the ministry to implement its plans to provide the best service to the segments of society weak and needy.
For his part, spokesman for the ministry Ammar Menem, “The Ministry of Labor has set fees for services provided by the Department of Arabs and foreigners and according to instructions to implement the state budget.”
The Department of Employment and Loans of the Ministry of Labor is concerned with the provision of services to grant licenses for foreign and domestic companies and foreign workers and granting licenses to bring home managers non-Iraqi and also grant loans to those who deserve the application of special controls and in accordance with the regulations in force.
