Flights between Iraq and Saudi Arabia will be launched at the end of this month

Iraqi Airways signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Saudi Arabian Airlines on Sunday to regulate air transport services between the two countries, which included the agreement to operate flights to Saudi Arabia and vice versa as of October 30.
The Iraqi Ministry of Transport, the meeting of the Director General of Iraqi Airways, Miran Farid, with the delegation of Saudi Airlines to sign a memorandum of understanding common air transport services between the two countries, and extends to provide all ground services for the aircraft of the Kingdom and vice versa.
Miran Farid said the deal also included flights from Saudi Arabia airports to Iraqi airports and vice versa from October 30.
In a statement, Farid added that the agreement on the operation of the flights includes various services, including ground services for subsistence, cleaning and fuel, loading of bags, crews and necessary equipment, as well as air freight services and the provision of the required supplies to cover the needs of transporting goods of all types.
