Iraq’s ambassador to Tehran demands the establishment of a joint bank with Iran

Iraqi ambassador to Tehran Rajih al-Moussawi stressed the need to establish a joint bank between Iran and Iraq to complete trade and economic exchanges.
Al-Moussawi stressed the importance of raising the level of trade between the two countries, adding that the economic potential of Iran is very large. He pointed out that it is necessary to introduce these economic and commercial possibilities of Iran to establish a permanent exhibition of Iranian products and services in Iraq to have the possibility of presenting all these experiences and products there so that many Commercial contracts between the two countries.
He pointed to the idea of ​​establishing a joint Islamic and regional market by the two countries. He said that most of the international plots are simulated against Iran and Iraq, hence further measures should be taken to consolidate the overall relations between them.
The Iraqi ambassador pointed to the banking and customs problems and the issuance of entry visas, stressing that the two sides should work to address these problems in light of a serious and firm decision.
He added that linking the railways between the two countries and extending them to Turkey can be influential in the relationship with Turkey and even the European Union, and the revival of the Shatt al-Arab is very influential in the development of maritime transport.
He expressed the hope that Iran would reach its real economic position by overcoming the embargo. He said that the establishment of a joint bank between the two countries to carry out economic and trade exchange in the national currency of the two parties, as well as the revocation of visas, can have a significant impact on the improvement of economic relations between them.
