The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs obtained financial revenues from the fees of granting work permits to foreign companies, amounting to one billion dinars, denying the existence of offices to recruit foreign workers affiliated with them.
The Ministry of Labor's Department of Employment and Loans in the Ministry of Labor achieved financial revenues during the month of September last year, amounting to one billion dinars as a fee to grant a number of work permits for foreign companies operating in the country, said media spokesman Ammar Menem in a statement to Sabah.
He added that the department was able to meet this amount in accordance with Resolution No. 80 of the Council of Ministers 3013, which set the mechanism of contracting with foreign companies operating in the country, as well as fees for granting work permits to the private sector and the introduction of foreign housekeepers and also visit the Commission to determine the size of employment for sector projects He pointed out that the funds raised will enhance the ministry's ability to implement its plans in order to provide the best service to the weak and needy segments of society.
Manem explained that the Department of Employment and Loans of the Ministry is concerned to provide services to grant licenses for foreign and local companies and foreign workers and grant licenses to bring home managers non-Iraqi and also grant loans to those who benefit after the application of special controls and in accordance with the regulations in force, stressing the absence of offices to recruit foreign workers belonging to the ministry, Stressing that the ministry will take legal action against any office for the recruitment of foreign workers claim to be linked to it.
