The competent authorities in the Ministry of Transport have begun the implementation of the first specialized security project to secure the entry of public transport vehicles to the capital in cooperation with the Baghdad Operations Command and the public traffic, while preparing to implement a special project to deliver bags from Abbas bin Farnas Square to Baghdad Airport free of charge.
The director of the General Company for Private Transport in the ministry, Qais Salman Hashim al-Miali in an exclusive interview made to "morning": The project of mass transport included all the ports of the capital, namely: hawks towards Anbar province, and Abaiji in the direction of the provinces of Salah al-Din and Nineveh, In the direction of the southern regions, and finally Yusufiyah towards the provinces of the Middle Euphrates and Abu Ghraib, and includes all taxis operating between Baghdad and the provinces and was applied in stages as it began to regulate the movement of taxi vehicles between Baghdad and the provinces.
He pointed out that this project has been implemented in three stages, started with the first stage of the system of the manifest, which determines the start time and the number of passengers and the driver's name and vehicle number and this phase was only between Baghdad provinces, has been coordinated with the Baghdad Operations Command on the installation of Ceterat to regulate the entry of vehicles entering Baghdad and insurance The security aspect through the adoption of (Bag security) carries full information about the driver of the vehicle, the second phase applied between the provinces and not only between Baghdad and the provinces, stressing the success of the company organized the movement of taxi vehicles and reduce the traffic momentum in the ports of the provinces and eliminate the phenomenon of fragmentation And random loading of passengers from outside garages, as well as providing accurate statistics and database on the preparation of vehicles registered on each line.
Al-Waeli said that the third stage will be the most important as electronic gates will be installed on the capital's outlets to enter the vehicles and this project will be implemented through investment through the adoption of specialized companies specialized in this field, revealing that the company is currently carrying out the project to deliver bags passengers from Abbas bin Farnas vehicles work periodically and give passengers (Board) of each bag, which facilitates the movement of passengers and reduce the inspection procedures, pointing out that this process will be free of passengers on the Iraqi Airways, indicating that the General Company for the management of private transport allocated part of the plot of land repented Of her for this project, which will be implemented by one of the investment companies, while the General Company of Iraqi Airways will manage the project.
