Chancellor of the Kurdistan Region Security Council Masrour Barzani called on Baghdad's leadership on Tuesday to put a stop to its radical measures against Kurdistan

On his weekly conference, Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Abadi stressed that Iraq will not cut its relations with Kurdistan, despite imposing many sanctions on the region

Barzani's comments came as he received Germany's Ambassador to Iraq Cyrill Nunn

The two sides discussed the latest political and military developments in Iraq and reactions to Kurdistan's independence referendum
Nunn asserted that this visit aims to start a dialogue between Erbil and Baghdad to end the tensions between the two sides

Barzani asserted that disagreements are not solved by threats and violence, stressing the importance that Baghdad must put a stop to its radical measures against Kurdistan
