British oil company contracts with Kurdistan

The news agency “Emirates” on Tuesday, the subject of the contract of the “Petrofac” international oil and gas, with the company, “Gazprom” Russian in the field of Karamian – Kurdistan of Iraq.
The agency said in its report that the duration of the contract “Petrovac” will be 3 years, with the consent of the safety control of mines, to support the company, “Gazprom” Russian Kurdistan region, the field of Karamian specifically.
“We are very happy to choose Gazprom for us to finance and support the main project of the Karamian field,” said Petrofac’s head of engineering and production. Adding that “our relations with the Iraqi Kurdistan Company is good, and we hope that this contract will contribute to the development of production expertise of the Kurdistan region.”
Petrofac is a leading British oil and gas company headquartered in Westminster, central London, with branches around the world such as Sharjah, Bombay and Xi’an in India. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange with more than 15,000 employees.
