Barzani: We always want to resolve differences with Baghdad through dialogue

The President of the Kurdistan Region, Massoud Barzani, Saturday, October 7, 2017, the desire to resolve differences with Baghdad through dialogue, noting that "no one knows the size of the space left by Mam Jalal left more than me."

On the first day of the funeral of the Secretary-General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, President of the former Iraqi Republic, Jalal Talabani, Barzani and the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Nabilvan Barzani, took part in the ceremony of placing a wreath of flowers on his tomb in Dabashan district in Sulaymaniyah. .

Barzani said in a statement to a group of media that "the loss of President Mam Jalal tragic and a great loss, but this is the year of life."

He added that "what we have to do now is to deepen our brothers and preserve the unity of the row, and thus will leave the spirit of Mam Jalal in peace," continued: "No one knows the size of the space left by Jalal Mam Jalal more than me because it was a lot of differences by one phone call."

On relations with Baghdad, he said: "We will do everything we can to protect the unity of the Kurdish people, we always want to solve our problems with Baghdad through dialogue," adding "to give the opportunity to dialogue with Baghdad at any time."

Jalal Talabani, who was born in 1933, died last Tuesday in a hospital in Germany at the age of 84, after a long conflict with the disease lasted 5 years, and subsequently announced the President of the Kurdistan Region, Massoud Barzani Haddad for a week on his death, Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi declared mourning for three days and began the first day of mourning on Saturday.
