Federal Court denies cancellation of salary deductions

The Federal Supreme Court on Wednesday denied issuing a decision to cancel the deductions of 3.8 percent of the salaries contained in the general budget law for the current year.
Director of the Information Office of the Court Ayas al-Samuk said in a statement received "morning" a copy of it: "The Federal Supreme Court when considering the appeal against some articles of the budget number (17 / Federal / 2017), including article (33 / I) of the law" .
He added that "this article provides (to take up 3.8 percent of the total salaries and allowances of state employees and the public sector and retirees to meet the needs of the state)."
"The plaintiff challenged the prime minister, in addition to his job only to distribute the percentage approved by the House of Representatives in the law contrary to the government project, did not challenge the existence of 3.8 percent."
