Al-Sayadi: Kurdish deputies refuse to recognize the illegitimacy of the referendum

(Baghdad: al-Furat News) MP Kazem al-Sayadi said Kurdish deputies refused to recognize before the Iraqi people the illegality of the referendum of the province.

"I have objected to the non-entry of Kurdish deputies to the parliament only after pledging and in a press conference before the Iraqi people that they did not participate in the referendum, and that they are against the referendum and that the referendum is an illegal movement," al-Sayadi told al-Furat News.

He pointed out that "they refused to announce that," noting that "the Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri asked me to remain silent and not talk about this subject."

He added that "the steps taken by the presidency of the blocs and the Presidency of the House of Representatives solutions patchwork, the purpose of which is the return of Kurdish blocs to parliament," stressing that "the need to start again with the Kurds a document is a fact can not be interpreted."

He pointed out that "the uniqueness of the presidency of the region by the decision to push some Kurdish MPs to return to the federal parliament."
