Launch of the Tamkeen Human Resource Development Program

Tamkeen's program is aimed at rehabilitating young people from the outputs of the faculties of management and economics and preparing them in a way that makes them qualified in the financial sector under the supervision of international expertise, which promotes practical training in the field of actual work to refine human resources in the desired manner and enable them to obtain a job opportunity within this sector.
Executive Director of the Association of Private Banks Ali Tariq stressed that the launch of Tamkeen, which was adopted by the Association, is an important step towards the rehabilitation of human resources, which is an important axis in the process of economic development.

Programs of Action
He added that the first phase of the program includes 50 trainees from the faculties of administration and economics for the last three years who wish to work in the financial sector, where they are trained in work programs that enable them to find suitable job within this jurisdiction and they have Skill required for it.
Tariq pointed out that the training period lasts (17) days, they are awarded certificates of qualification in the financial sector, pointing out that Tamkeen sessions are provided free of charge to participants, where the Association of Banks bears participation fees and related accessories.
In Iraq, there is a large workforce that needs to be rehabilitated and equipped with the necessary expertise in many fields of competence, and to make it ready to enter the field of work and gain the necessary expertise in its field of competence.

new ideas
Tareq pointed out that this program in its first phase aims at (250) trainees and that other stages are organized with new ideas that help human resources to acquire the new experiences and make them elements that actually support the process of economic development sought by Iraq.
He pointed out that this trend adopted by the Association came in line with the requirements of the private sector, which seeks the holders of diplomas supported by the basic skills in the computer and language and some administrative matters required by the work, and thus comes the role of these programs to complement the outputs of universities and rehabilitation of these human resources to be appropriate to the requirements of banking.

University Outputs
More than one million young people, representing university outputs in various disciplines, will be added to the workforce, which will require them to be an effective and supportive work force for economic trends and sustainable development.
Tariq stressed that the training program is under the supervision of international experts contracted by the Association where there is cooperation in the field of training with Microsoft International and KPMG Investments as well as an expert from the Faculty of Business Economics.
He also stressed that the training is complemented by practical field applications in the financial sector aimed at honing talents and commensurate with training objectives as well as the requirements of this sector, which gradually expanded in parallel with developments
