The engineering and technical staff of the General Directorate of Electricity Transmission in the south announced the completion of work and repair of the link between the two stations of Bab al-Zubayr al-Jadida - Basra 400 KV, which was damaged for the second time in ten days due to excavation work carried out by one of the companies executing sewage works in the province Basra, while carrying the responsibility of the company responsible for that holiday.

The Directorate said in a statement received by "Trend Press" on a copy on Monday, that the Directorate was forced to take difficult and complicated procedures in the distribution of the faulty line and not to affect the hours of processing the citizens with electricity, as a result of shortages due to damage to this line.

The statement added that the Directorate had already indicated to the executing company of the excavation works on the tracks of the entrances and warned against approaching them except with the presence of the competent cadres of the Directorate, in order to prevent the damage, but to no avail. The Directorate called for exercising its legal right through the official channels to stop the work of the company and to load all the consequences Legal and financial damages caused by.
