Kurdish negotiators to visit Baghdad Saturday over referendum


A delegation of the supreme council of referendum in Kurdistan will visit Baghdad on Saturday to discuss referendum.

Majed Bazerkan, the council's member, said in a press release that the delegation that visited Baghdad last month will revisit it tomorrow.

The visit is aimed to tell officials in Baghdad deliberations are still continuing, and any proposal brought forth by any party will be submitted to the Kurdish leadership.

This comes as the region prepares for the independence referendum on September 25th.
