Iraqi Oil Minister: No further production cuts needed

Iraqi Oil Minister Jabbar al-Luaibi said on Tuesday his country did not see any need for further production cuts at the moment, but if needed, Iraq would support consensus within the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
Al-Luaibi said on the sidelines of an energy conference in the UAE that Iraq is reducing its production by about 260 thousand barrels per day, exceeding its share of the agreed reduction.
Prices in the range of $ 55 to $ 60 per barrel are best for all, he added.
OPEC and other producers, including Russia, agreed to cut production by 1.8 million barrels per day (bpd) until March 2018 in a bid to cut global stocks and boost oil prices.
