A delegation from the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development arrived in Baghdad to discuss the reconstruction of areas affected by the terrorist organization Da'ash.

"A delegation from the Arab Economic Development Fund arrived in the capital Baghdad to discuss the reconstruction of the affected areas with officials in Iraq," a source in the Prime Minister's Office told the Economist News. "The delegation will also discuss the financial agreement for Baghdad projects."

The source, who preferred not to be named, said that "the delegation will visit the provinces of Anbar and Salahuddin to view the infrastructure and how to finance reconstruction projects."

On the other hand, the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development announced the launch of urgent health projects in Iraq within the grant of the last hundred million dollars allocated by the Fund for the reconstruction of Iraq.

Development Fund representative Nawaf al-Mohammad said that the fund will launch next Thursday $ 15 million of the total grant amount for the implementation of urgent health projects in eight Iraqi provinces.

He added that the projects agreed with the Iraqi government will focus on rebuilding the destroyed health centers and equipping them with medical equipment and tools to receive the displaced population.

He explained that the urgent need to restore stability in those areas prompted the Development Fund to launch the emergency program in agreement with the Reconstruction Fund for Iraq.
