Industry intends to export food and construction materials

The Ministry of Industry and Minerals intends to export food and construction products after obtaining the international ISO certificate and achieving self-sufficiency in the country.

"The Ministry, within its plans to support the local product and restore national industry to its previous stage, prepared a plan for the export of food and construction materials, in particular sugar, oil, fertilizer, urea and cement," said the ministry's media director Luai al-Waeli. It has obtained international ISO certification, and also fills the local market need.
He added that the ministry has adopted a qualitative approach in production through the adoption of production lines: German, French and British in order to improve the quality of the product, indicating that it doubled the operating lines that entered service, and reduced the price of the product in the market to meet the needs of low-income. He said that the ministry is keen on marketing production policy in coordination with the state departments in order to supply them with all the raw materials needed in the projects for construction materials, as well as foodstuffs that compete with their imported ones, explaining that filling the local market need and self-sufficiency for more The Minister of Industry and Minerals, Eng.
