Abadi: Most Kirkuk oil is issued informally and does not benefit from the province

The commander-in-chief of the armed forces, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, on Wednesday, the liberation of the province of Hawija province of Kirkuk and western Anbar province soon, and warned of entering the country in a "dark tunnel", considered that most of the Kirkuk oil is issued "informally" and does not benefit from the province.

"The people of Hawija and western Anbar will soon be liberated," Abadi said at his weekly press conference. "The Iraqi security forces will fully liberate Hawija, but there will be coordination with the Peshmerga."

On the security situation, Abadi added that "there were plans for the terrorist groups in the Eid, but was completely foiled."

On the referendum on the independence of the Kurdistan region, Abadi said that "the referendum without reaching the results of deliberate deceit for people," saying that "the holding of a referendum by one party enters the country in a dark tunnel."

In a separate context, Abadi continued that "the most Kirkuk oil is issued informally and does not benefit from the province."
