Al-Abbadi Office announces the referral of the draft social insurance law to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers


The Office of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced on Wednesday that the draft social insurance law be forwarded to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers to take into account the remarks of the Secretariat and the directions of Abadi, pointing out that it will be announced to refer the law to Parliament after the adoption of the law in full and final.

"The draft social security law was referred to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers to take into account the remarks of the General Secretariat and the directives of the Prime Minister Haider Abadi in connection with this project," spokesman Saad al-Hadithi said in a statement.



He said al-Hadithi that "will be announced to refer the bill to the House of Representatives after taking these observations in the way to amend the text of the bill, and approved by the Council of Ministers in full and final."



It is noteworthy that the draft law on social insurance, voted by the Council of Ministers earlier raised a wave of criticism among the deputies, because of what they considered depriving the martyrs' families of their rights and privileges. Ending / 25
