World Bank: Turkish companies acquire Iraq reconstruction projects


World Bank experts estimate the cost of reconstructing Iraqi cities and areas recovered from the ISIS terrorist organization at $ 100 billion.
The newspaper “Monitor” the US report, quoting experts at the World Bank, that reconstruction programs in Iraq will be a lucrative and attractive job market for major construction companies in the world.
According to the newspaper, these experts confirmed that Iraq will be the largest market for reconstruction in the world, starting in 2018, which will benefit primarily Turkish construction companies.
Earlier, the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) said it would participate extensively in the reconstruction of war-torn cities in Iraq. The government of Baghdad began negotiations with the bank last May to launch the program. A total of 151 major projects have been identified, with priority given to road projects and infrastructure for state utilities, which have been almost completely subverted.
The US President, Donald Trump, has presented in February, the US House of Representatives project ‘reconstruction of Iraq for oil’, and carries the project has more than 100 paragraphs, the majority of a legal and financial nature, through which Iraq could map a return Emaar.
