    The Cabinet decides to impose sanctions on anyone who threatens a teacher or a teacher or assaults them



    The Cabinet held its regular session on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, in which he affirmed the application of sanctions against anyone who threatened a teacher or a teacher or attacked them during the performance of their duties or deliberately prevented them from performing them.

    The statement issued by the Information Office of the Council, read by Al-Manar Press, that "because of the repeated phenomenon of assault on teachers and teachers and to limit them and not repeat against this slide and to raise the level of scientific and living and improve the profession of the teacher, the Cabinet decided on Tuesday, the following:

    - Forming a committee from the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and Ministries of Finance and Education to proceed with the proposed legislation to protect teachers and teachers in consultation with both the Finance Committee and the Education Committee, provided that no new financial consequences burdens the budget.

    - Emphasize the application of the provisions of articles 229, 230 and 231 of the Iraqi Penal Code No. (111) of 1969 against anyone who threatens or accuses a teacher or a teacher during the performance of their duties or because of them to deliberately prevent them from performing their duties.

    Affirmation of the application of Decision No. (24) for the year 1997 on the right of anyone who claimed a tribal claim against the teacher or teacher when he is acting in implementation of the law or order issued by a higher authority.
    - Include teachers and teachers in real estate loans and advances in accordance with the provisions of the laws in force.

    - Emphasize the Iraqi Teachers Association to play its role in providing economic, social and cultural services for teachers and teachers and improve their health, cultural and social.

    - Affirmation of the application of the State and Public Employees Discipline Law No. (14) for the year 1991 regarding complaints against teachers and teachers.
    In addition to other decisions concerning the political and security affairs in Iraq.
