Diyala attractions: We were surprised by the existence of debts of more than 70 million dinars to the Electricity Department



The religious shrines in Diyala province confirmed on Wednesday that it was surprised by the presence of debts of more than 70 million dinars to the electricity department in order to provide dozens of shrines and holy sites energy, while called on the Ministry of Electricity to intervene and activate the decision to exempt.

The director of Mazalat Diyala Hussein al-Bawi in an interview with Alsumaria News, "The Board of religious pilgrims surprised by the existence of indebtedness of the sites more than 70 million dinars to the electricity service in Diyala to provide dozens of religious shrines and shrines of energy during the last period."

Al-Bawi said that "the electricity department of Diyala insist on the collection of funds despite the existence of an official decision to exempt issued in the time of the former regime and is applied so far in all provinces except Diyala and this must be addressed."

Al-Bawi called on the Ministry of Electricity to "activate the decision to exempt Diyala religious shrines from paying the collection of electricity as a valid decision and has not changed for many years."
