Beirut hosts conference to reconstruct liberated areas in Iraq

Diyala governor Muthanna al-Tamimi announced on Monday the launch of the reconstruction of liberated areas in the Lebanese capital Beirut.

Al-Tamimi said in a statement received by the Journal News that "the conference of the reconstruction of liberated areas in Iraq started its activities in the capital Beirut, in the presence of Mustafa al-Hiti, head of the reconstruction fund of areas affected by terrorist operations, and representatives of the provinces of Mosul and Anbar and Salahuddin."

"Diyala has been subjected to a fierce terrorist attack by the organization of Takfiri, and needs local, regional and international support for its reconstruction and the return of the displaced to their liberated areas," Tamimi said.

Al-Tamimi pointed out that he directed Diyala's departments to "provide all the necessary support and support for priority areas in the water, electricity, education, schools, health and other necessary sectors." He explained that "the conference offered the facilities that the local government can offer to companies wishing to invest And reconstruction of the province.

The infrastructure, as well as a large number of districts and houses in the province of Diyala was destroyed over more than two years of war between the Iraqi forces and the organization "Daash," and ended with the defeat of "terrorism" and the victory of the peace forces "security forces and popular mobilization."
