Security forces are cutting off some roads leading to Tahrir square ahead of the demonstrations

A security source in Baghdad said on Friday that security forces cut off some roads leading to Tahrir square in the center of the capital, ahead of the start of the demonstrations.

The source told "Al-Ghad Press" that "the security forces have cut off some roads with barbed wire and deployed many of its elements in the streets leading to Tahrir Square in conjunction with the demonstrations to be launched at 5:30 pm today."

It is noteworthy that dozens of citizens take out weekly demonstrations in Tahrir Square in Baghdad and several provinces, to demand reform and change the law and the Electoral Commission, amid tight security measures.
