Basra MPs demand a solution to pay petrodollar dues and choose a professional governor
Basra lawmakers on Thursday called on the government to support Basra and find a binding solution to pay petrodollar dues as well as choosing a professional governor.

The correspondent, "Al-Ghad Press," that "the deputies of the province of Basra called on the government to support the province and the delivery of its budget and find a binding solution to pay dues petrodollar."

He added that "MPs also called for the withdrawal of the government's appeal against the benefits, in addition to their claim to the provincial council to take responsibility and choose a professional to carry out the functions of the governor."

A number of deputies from the province of Basra, had threatened, Tuesday (15 August), sit-ins and disobedience within the province, in the event of non-payment of the dues of the province of the budget.
