The Ministry of Communications seeks to expand the capacity of Internet service through the introduction of modern technologies in the project of optical and micro-media to develop and improve the quality of services available through the Web and stabilize prices.
The official spokesman of the ministry Hazem Mohammed Ali said in a statement to the "morning": The General Company for Communications and Infrastructure seeks to increase the Internet capacity in Baghdad and the provinces of the country, stressing that the ministry and through increased use of the Internet is working to make efforts to develop the reality of the Internet in Iraq from Through the introduction of modern technologies to the field of communications, which will provide good services to the citizen enjoys high speed and security as well as stabilize the prices of services available. He pointed out that the process of developing the Internet service is linked to the introduction of modern technologies adopted globally in this field, especially in the projects of communication with optical and optical types, and the stations of messaging and optical network, which have a major role in the modernization of services. In the same context, Ali revealed the development of the National Data Transformation Project (PDN), which consists of main stations deployed in Baghdad and the governorates. The company is working to increase the capacity of terminals to more than 100 Kika.
