Anbar Council: 8 names applied for the post of governor to replace the narrator
A member of the province of Anbar Sabah Karhout on Monday submitted eight names for the nomination of the governor of Anbar, succeeding the article Suhaib Rawi.

"After the sacking of Anbar governor Suhaib al-Rawi, eight names have been submitted for the post of governor, including provincial council member Obeid Obeid, MP Mohammed al-Halbusi, Ali Farhan, deputy governor, Arkan Khalaf al-Turmoz and others," Karhout told Al-Ghad Press.

"Former governor Suhaib al-Rawi is still running away from justice and is being sought with the help of the Iraqi army in Anbar and the police department," he said.

The Anbar Provincial Council voted on July 20, 2017, by a majority vote of its members to dismiss Governor Suhaib Al-Rawi.
