Government of Kurdistan is concluding a contract worth 40 million dollars with Germany to develop Erbil International Airport





The Kurdistan Regional Government signed a contract worth 40 million US dollars with the German government for the purpose of making changes to Erbil International Airport and develop it.

The German consulate in Kurdistan announced today that the contract includes changes and renewal of the contents concerning the transfer to and from the airport, as well as the file of the maintenance of safety and safety, which will be supervised by the airport administration and by the implementation of the German government.

For its part, Director of Erbil International Airport Telar Faiq said that the work is completed in a fast time in order to increase the Kurdistan of its line towards universality, and progress.

The statement pointed out that 40 million US dollars of the amount allocated for the contract, which includes completing the work of airport roads, and make changes to a number of places and change the contents, as well as the drainage of rain water, and issues related to transport to and from the airport.
