Al-Atwani: 60 percent of Baghdad's areas are covered by investment generators

The governor of Baghdad revealed the coverage of 60 percent of the capital regions of the generators of investment, stressing that the experiment is the best solution to the problem of energy in the capital, comes at the time of the disclosure of the existence of efforts to resume work in stalled projects in Husseiniya and Diyala bridge.
**Atwan said in an exclusive interview with Al-Sabah: "Investment generators are currently operating 24 hours a day. They have returned the best solution to the shortage of power supply in the capital." , And it is hoped to cover all areas during the summer season.
He added that the province relies on clear and strict mechanisms to punish the owners of generators who violate the instructions of the Council, calling on the Ministry of Electricity to determine the static programming for the times of cutting national electricity, to prevent interference in the hours of operation between national and generators.
Al-Atwani explained that the problem of services in the judiciary is part of the concerns of the province, noting that it held intensive meetings with officials of the municipal departments and project implementers, which resulted in the lifting of a letter to the Council of Ministers to exclude all projects in the region of the resolution 347 to stop her because of the country's financial crisis.
He added that the exception will include the projects of Al-Husseiniya and health centers, which exceeded 85 percent of the completion rate. In addition, the completion of the Martyr Dhari al-Fayyad Hospital, which has reached 90 percent completion rate, in addition to completion of schools and water networks, For the existence of new projects in that jurisdiction was submitted to the Council of Ministers, including the tiling and cover the streets of the entire area to be consistent with the completion rates in the sewer, with the rehabilitation of the old and dilapidated electricity network.
The governor of Baghdad said that the Council of Ministers formed committees of the advisers and the Secretariat and the ministries of planning and finance, in order to study those projects in order to provide financial allocation and then direct implementation to be completed before the end of this year, pointing out that the Council decided to transfer the Nahrawan In order to facilitate the process of clothing.
Regarding the area of ​​the Diyala bridge, he stressed that the area suffers from a problematic sewage project, including not lifting and moving the debris of the project to another place, which caused the accumulation of waste and the collection of water, which affected the infrastructure of the project as well as the difficulty of the process of tiling, To the Council of Ministers in this regard.
