Kurdistan and Iran strengthen trade relations “not hindered by anything”

The head of the Federation of Exporters and Importers in the Kurdistan Region Sheikh Mustafa Sheikh Abdul Rahman on Saturday signed two memorandums of understanding with Iran to strengthen trade relations between Tehran and Erbil.
The signing of the memorandums came on the sidelines of the participation of a delegation from the Kurdistan Region at the World Economic Conference, which started today in Dhahran today in the presence of 24 countries from around the world.
Sheikh Abdul Rahman said in a press statement, from Tehran, that the participation of the Kurdish delegation comes at the official invitation of Tehran.
He pointed out that the Kurdish delegation signed memorandums of understanding with the Iranian government to strengthen trade relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Sheikh Abdul Rahman said that the memorandums of understanding include the continuation of trade between the Kurdistan Region and Iran, and development more than before, and that there will be no problems hindered at any time.
