Governor of Diyala announces the completion of 7 projects in the province

Diyala Governor Muthana al-Tamimi announced on Friday the start of work in seven projects in different areas of the province, noting that "the financing of projects came from the fund to support and reconstruction of the affected areas."

Al-Tamimi said in a statement read by the «Journal News» «was the completion of seven service projects include rehabilitation of roads, in areas liberated in the province, including Sherwin and Dali Abbas and Muqdadiya, in addition to the system of roads of areas of Azim, Saadiyah and Jalula and Hazeem Asiud.

He added that "the financing of these projects came from the Fund for the reconstruction of affected areas," stressing that the projects is the first meal of a number of projects will be implemented throughout the province during the coming period.

Tamimi pointed out that "in light of the austerity situation experienced by the country in general and the province of Diyala in particular, but the provincial administration is keen to implement projects supported by the Fund to support and reconstruction of areas affected by military operations as soon as possible."

The Governor of Diyala Muthanna al-Tamimi had confirmed during a meeting with British Ambassador in Baghdad, Frank Baker, in June, the readiness of the province to receive British companies and investors, to contribute to the implementation of projects and construction and reconstruction are available.
