Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman al-Safadi arrived in Baghdad on Thursday to discuss the opening of the land line between Baghdad and Amman and coordination of positions in the fight against terrorism in cooperation with neighboring countries.
"Safadi will meet Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari and a number of Iraqi officials and discuss with them the opening of the land line between Baghdad and Amman (Trebil) and coordinate positions in the fight against terrorism in cooperation with neighboring countries," a source told Al-Ghad Press.
The Iraqi ambassador to Jordan Safia al-Suhail promised to open the Trebil crossing in front of Jordanian goods, according to the representative of the food sector in the Jordan Chamber of Industry, Mohammed Al-Abdalat.
