Jeffrey: our companies ready to build power plants on credit payment form
The independent Iraqi news agency - BAGHDAD - The U.S. ambassador to Iraq, James Jeffrey, U.S. companies willing to build a specialized power stations in Iraq, processing, and payment on credit if the format provides the Iraqi government to assign to this formula.
A statement of the Ministry of Electricity from Jeffrey saying during his meeting with Minister of Electricity Karim Aftan: "The U.S. companies are willing to work on projects and the Ministry of Electricity to all forms of cooperation, whether direct payment or on credit," noting that the issue of payment on credit need to assign and support the Iraqi government, to provide adequate safeguards to reassure companies their dues within Iraq.
For his part, praised the Minister of Electricity Corporations American manufacturer of electric power plants, specifically the General Electric Company, which promised "the best interface for the United States of America" as well as praising the U.S. banks, calling on them to finance projects of the electricity sector.
