Tomorrow ... Parliament session includes voting on the draft provincial elections law


The Presidency of the House of Representatives published on Monday the agenda of the parliament session on Tuesday, including the vote on the draft provincial elections law.

The Presidency said in a statement received by "Al-Ghad Press" that "the session of Parliament tomorrow will include the vote on the draft law on provincial and district elections, (the Legal Committee, the Committee of Regions and governorates not organized in a region), (53 articles)."

She added that "the session will also vote on the draft law regulating the commercial agency, (the Committee on Economy and Investment), (24 articles), and vote on the proposal of the Second Amendment Act of the Sports Clubs Law No. 18 of 1986, (Committee on Youth and Sports, (4 items) ".

She pointed out that "the session will vote on the draft law of the Iraqi Commission for Accreditation (Committee on Economy and Investment) (18 article), and consider the appeals filed on the validity of the membership of some deputies.

"The Parliament will read in its first reading session of the proposed amendment to the Law of Ownership No. 25 of the amended 1960, (the Higher Education and Scientific Research Committee), (3 articles), and the draft law on the rights of Turkmen, (Commission on Human Rights), (18 articles).

"There will be a general theme for discussion on the return of IDPs to their areas, and the general topic of discussion on the formation of a special committee for Article 125 of the Constitution, MP Emad Juhanna, and the quarterly activity report of the Committee on Agriculture, Water and Marshlands."
