The Minister of Education receives an official invitation to represent Iraq at the World Scout Conference in Azerbaijan


Education Minister Mohammad Iqbal al-Sidli received on Sunday an official invitation to represent Iraq at the World Scout Conference in Azerbaijan to resume Iraq's activities.

"The pharmacist met with the Secretary of the Arab Scout Association Atef Abdel Majid and member of the International Scout Association David Berg," the ministry's media office said in a statement received by Al-Ghad Press. "The minister received an official invitation to represent Iraq at the World Scout Conference, which will be held in the capital. Azerbaijan on August 12 and the resumption of Iraq's activities after his official return as a member of the World Scout Organization after a 27-year break. "

He added that "the pharmacist reviewed the efforts of the Ministry of Education, which culminated recently in the return of Iraq to international forums, after years of interruption of scouts from Iraq and the Arab world and international, not to mention the serious contribution to support this vital and important sector."

He pointed out that the pharmacist discussed with the visiting delegation the Iraqi Scout reality and the national aspirations in this file and its obstacles, familiar with the experience of the Arab and international delegation in their country Iraq and the Scout Conference held in Wasit province in southern Iraq.

The Scout delegation, according to the statement, "the establishment of the Iraqi Scout Constitution, which was approved in accordance with the Scout draft Arab and global," stressing "its importance in the development and upgrading of the reality Scout Iraq."
