Sales of the central Iraqi decline by auction today



The Central Bank of Iraq's foreign exchange sales fell during an auction on Sunday to 122.02 million dollars, compared to 125.59 million dollars on Thursday, a decrease of 3.5 million dollars, according to a statement by the Central Bank.

The central bank said in a statement that the exchange rate was 1182 dinars per dollar in the auction held with the participation of 40 banks and 10 companies for financial transfer.

The bank said in its statement that the sales were the outcome of the auction scheduled for Monday, July 31.

Amounts sold to strengthen bank balances abroad were about $ 120.57 million, while the amount of cash sold was estimated at $ 1.52 million.

The Central Bank said in a statement that the sale of the amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad at a price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the cash sale will be at the same price.
