Governor of Anbar is discussing with the Olive Group to secure the highway with Jordan

Anbar Governor Suhaib Al-Rawi on Wednesday discussed with the President of Olive Group the rehabilitation and securing of the international highway in the province. The office of the governor said in a statement today that the latter received Chris Ranu, president of the US company Olive Group, which was selected to secure and rehabilitate the international highway in Anbar province, through investment. During the meeting, they discussed all the procedures for concluding the contract, setting up an implementation mechanism for the project within a period of time to ensure practical and scientific progress, cooperation with the local and central governments and the Iraqi security forces to maintain the continuity of work. During the meeting, the Governor stressed that the international highway represents an important stage in restoring stability and life in general to the governorate, while drawing attention to what this project will achieve from the service of the province in particular and the local level in general. For his part, Chris Rano praised the governor’s efforts in overcoming all obstacles to rehabilitation and securing the road, pointing out that the international road will be rehabilitated and fully secured within the approved international standards.
