Training workshop on Iraqi food security convened by the United Nations

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Iraq, in collaboration with the Regional Network for Food Security Information Analysis, held a training workshop on food security for members of the National Commission for Food Security in Iraq. The workshop lasted for three days.

The participants made recommendations and agreed on the formulation of a roadmap for further capacity-building, enhanced monitoring of food security and information management, and the formulation of new food security policies, which require financial support and the partnership between FAO and iMMAP, RFSAN provides technical support to prioritize food security information and warning systems And provide food security and nutrition data agreed to support humanitarian programs focused on resilience during crises in Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria.
