The governor of Diyala is directing the allocation of salaries of delayed new medical staff in the province

Diyala Health Department announced on Thursday that the governor of Mina al-Tamimi was to allocate the salaries of four months to the new medical staff in Diyala Health Department and to send them as soon as possible.

"In response to the demands of a group of doctors, dentists and pharmacists after a demonstration and organizing protests by the imam of the Diyala provincial council building about the delay in receiving their salaries four months ago, a meeting was held with Diyala Governor Muthanna al-Tamimi," said Diyala Health Director Faris al-Azzawi. To develop appropriate solutions to the crisis and reduce the aggravation.

He added that "the governor of Diyala directed to take the necessary measures to allocate salaries for new medical staff after a delay of four consecutive months."

Al-Azzawi pointed out that "the General Director of Diyala Health called on the Ministry of Finance to develop urgent and radical solutions to end the late salary crisis, while stressing that he directed all parties to cooperate and serious to create a suitable atmosphere to work and overcome the obstacles in a selfish way, in order to work in all health institutions correctly "He said.

He stressed that "the exit of the demonstration and the organization of the vigil before the Diyala Provincial Council by doctors and pharmacists this morning was an important message to the concerned parties to intervene and find quick solutions to the current crisis and not repeated in the future."

Dozens of newly appointed doctors and pharmacists came out this morning with a peaceful demonstration by the mayor of Diyala provincial council in Baquba to protest the delay in paying salaries for four months.
