Lawyer for "Al-Ghad Press": Experts report the challenge of the budget is not binding

Attorney Rawa al-Moussawi confirmed Wednesday that the experts appointed by the Federal Supreme Court to resolve the appeal against some articles of the budget, their opinion is not binding, pointing out that their report will relate to the technical aspects without prejudice to legal accountability.

Al-Moussawi said that the "Al-Ghad Press", "The Federal Supreme Court when it referred the appeal of the government budget to five experts were successful; because the former experts responded to their report objection from one of the parties to the case."

She added that "the procedure was in accordance with the law and the spirit of justice and to prevent any doubt about the report adopted," noting that "the court wanted to stand on the technical aspects related to the total budget before and after approval."

"The opinion of the experts, as is known, is not binding, but it can be taken as a reason to judge, and in exchange it can be wasted, as happened with their report today."

"The report does not affect the legal aspects left to the court, but only the technical issues to the real."

She pointed out that "this is a matter of the Court in the important cases, including the appeal of the law of the Iraqi media network in force, and the appeal of the two sessions of the House of Representatives last year, which saw the removal of Salim al-Jubouri from his post, and those which were reshuffled under tight security, where they were unconstitutional According to experts' report.
