Parliamentary Finance denies the deduction of any amount of the salaries of employees for the reconstruction of Mosul

A member of the Finance Committee parliamentary Majida Tamimi, on Wednesday, the intention of any deduction from the salaries of staff and allocated for the reconstruction of the city of Mosul, noting the existence of an agreement to lift the previous deductions in their salaries in the budget in 2018.



Al-Tamimi said in a statement obtained by "Trend Press" on a copy of it, "The amount of funds required for the reconstruction of the provinces liberated by our armed forces of gangs dodging the terrorist is very large and we need international assistance," indicating that "there is no intention to deduct a percentage of salaries Staff and allocate them for the reconstruction of these liberated areas. "



Tamimi added that "there is agreement in the Finance Committee parliamentary to raise the deductions of salaries of employees in the budget of 2018 allocated to the proportion of the popular crowd and other proportion of the displaced after the victory was achieved on a razor," noting that "it will have a positive reflection on the decline in military expenditures, On the return of displaced persons to their provinces. "



Tamimi added that "the general budget of the country is a government vision sent by the government, which means that it is decided to deductions if any," asserting that "this does not prevent the House of Representatives to draw any deductions or delete and vote on it."



The House voted in December 2016, to deduct 3.8% of the salaries of employees and retirees within the general budget for 2017, intended to support popular mobilization and the return of displaced persons.
