Central bank sales rise in foreign currency auction

The sale of foreign currency by the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) on Wednesday sold more than $ 178 million, after selling $ 176 million yesterday.

"The volume of the amount sold today amounted to 178 million, 537 thousand and 334 dollars, at an exchange rate of 1182 dinars per dollar, with the participation of 39 banks and 10 companies for financial transfer."

The statement said that "the sale of amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad, as well as the sale of cash was the price of 1190 dinars per dollar."
