Central Bank of Iraq's foreign exchange sales rise 3.5 million dollars

The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI)'s foreign exchange sales rose to $ 136.64 million on Wednesday, compared with $ 133.19 million on Monday, an increase of $ 3.45 million, the central bank said in a statement.

The central bank said in a statement that the exchange rate was 1182 dinars per dollar in the auction held with the participation of 40 banks and 10 companies for financial transfer.

The bank said in a statement that the amount sold to boost bank balances abroad exceeded $ 135.83 million, while the amount of sales in cash was 810 thousand dollars.

The Central Bank, in the statement, that the sale of amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad at the price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the sale of cash will be at the same price.
