Abadi adviser: Iraq will receive 840 million dollars from the International Monetary Fund next month


Advisor to the Prime Minister, Mudhir Mohammed Saleh, announced Monday that the first week of next month, Iraq will meet with the International Monetary Fund to review the results of the second review of the credit agreement, indicating that Iraq will receive 840 million dollars from the International Monetary Fund next month.
Saleh said the results of the second review consultation would be presented to the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund at the next meeting, which will be held in the first week of next August.
He added that Iraq will be able to get part of the loan under the program of credit readiness program, which is estimated at 840 million dollars out of the loan of the Fund of $ 5.3 billion, “noting that” the third audit consultation of the program may begin this fall.
