The director of electricity distribution in Dhi Qar province, Zafir Hamid, told "Al-Ghad Press" that "the technical committees responsible for following up the violations of the electrical network have carried out a large campaign since the beginning of this year, including all areas of the province and resulted in the removal of (14234) .

"The abuses that were removed were the use of direct connection without a standard, the exchange of nutrition between regions, as well as the indiscriminate withdrawal of energy away from the procedures of technical connection of fundamentalism and the participation of some participants to withdraw from two directions and excessive lighting by a large number of owners Complexes, shops, car showrooms and restaurants. "

He pointed out that "the campaign was carried out in coordination with the electricity police and local councils and selected in the areas and residential neighborhoods in the province."
"The Directorate of Electricity Distribution Dhi Qar carried out, this morning, a large campaign to collect electricity wages and raise abuses and rationalize consumption in the city of Nasiriyah, the center of the province."

It is noteworthy that the campaign was attended by the correspondent "Al-Ghad Press", which ended its effectiveness with a result that included the collection of the amount of five million dinars, and the lifting of (100) cases exceeded and confiscation of wires length of (500) meters, as well as cut off the electricity to 10 subscribers are reluctant to pay.

"The objectives of the implementation of this campaign is to regulate consumption and raise the pace of collection and the elimination of the rumors in the electric power to ensure the maintenance of the quota allocated to the province by the Ministry of Electricity."
