Running the first “vip” flight from Baghdad airport


Iraq’s Ministry of Transport said Minister Kazem Al-Alami had supervised the launch of the first flight of the “vip” aircraft under the joint operation contract between Iraqi Airways and Palm Jet.
Al Hamami said during his meeting with a number of passengers on board before the launch: “The ministry is determined to promote all sectors of transport, especially the reality of air transport through the benefit of the private sector, which provides good services through joint operation with Iraqi Airways.”
“This step is intended to encourage all local and foreign companies to work in the field of transport, which today is a promising opportunity to achieve what they aspire to by relying on international standards and requirements,” he added.
For his part, Director General of the General Company of Iraqi Airways, Engineer Samer Kubba: “The joint operation with the private sector gave a complementary addition to the services provided by Iraqi Airways at various levels and the fruits of that cooperation will be observed by the traveler in all his dealings either in the booking offices or on our aircraft “He said.
“These VIP flights are scheduled on a number of state capitals (Istanbul, Amman, Dubai and Beirut) with great services that are the best in the aviation world.”
